SEEF PROMENADE MASTER PLAN

A master plan is a tool to better understand in which direction to develop a land use and to enhance the investment and at the same time contribute to the improvement of the city and the community.

The definition of a master plan and its buildings is always at the conceptual level in order to develop each part deeper at second stage.

Then we will find the subdivision of land in different plots with the addition of new roads, parking lots, green and data with the total possibility of building development.

Prom·e·nade

a. A leisurely walk, especially one taken in a public place as a social activity.
b. A public place for such walking.

The Promenade is a long green space used as a pedestrian promenade and public park.

Its particularity is to slide in between the houses with lovely view on some streets and squares of the city center.

Seef Promenade is a mix used development, where commercial, residential and retail live together surrounded by two promenade gardens and walkways and private landscaped terraces.

The proximity of the sea means that all the development is facing it and at the same time it is inspired by it. The lower commercial buildings reproduce the effect of giant waves on the outline with white and blue facades that recall a bubbly waves, as well as the two sentry towers where the ceramic frit on the has an horizontal effect.

The towers have a south facade protected by a perforated screen, while opening to the north at the sea’s sight.

In the concept we kept the idea to give importance to the promenade with a pedestrian street between the building with facilities and landscape.

We create in this way a platform where five buildings and the strip building insist on.

The place is neutral, so the idea to have five different buildings with a strong identity on one side and a complex but simple building on the other side is the base of our concept creating a modern urban environment with hi quality architecture.

In this way we are creating an exclusive space between the iconic buildings and their outdoor environment , unique for Bahrain, a sort of small part of a downtown city; a place where to stay outside or inside at your convenience.
